Before the course, I never focused on the main concepts as I never really thought them essential to "real life" as a speech-language pathologist. I now have a very different perspective on why these aspects are important and how they move cognition forward.

ZOOM TRAINING 2 FEEDBACK

Very informative. Very well presented. Very good use of visual aids.

Thinking Stars: Teacher Feedback From Training, August 2014

The course was very helpful to me as a teacher, excellent and exciting, because it opened my mind … how to integrate basic concept in all learning areas. It also showed that children should not be limited and their understanding should be developed step-by-step.

Schools Improvement Initiative, UCT (June 2013)

‘BCP is foundational to a child's learning. It is the building blocks on which all other concepts are built. A concept needs to be fully understood by a child before a new concept can be taught. We often rush children's learning due to time constraints which is not correct.’ (KIDZPOSITIVE, Occupational Therapist, 2011)

Teacher Feedback

‘The trainer was very good and it was refreshing to be part of a workshop that can actually make a difference in the lives and minds of learners.’ (Metro North, 2010)
